FX Rouxel
FX Rouxel trained as an engineer at École des Mines de Paris and spent his earlier career across clean energy, infrastructure, and consulting, including senior roles at nuclear group AREVA/Orano — where he led an uranium-enrichment business unit and M&A and strategy work — and at Capgemini, where he held leadership positions including CEO of Infrastructure Services in the US. Drawing on his background in clean energy, automation, and AI, and his personal passion for fresh food and nutrition, he founded Gardyn in the Washington, D.C. area to bring AI-managed indoor hydroponic gardens to consumers. As founder and CEO he built Gardyn's vertical grow-light systems, the Kelby AI plant-care assistant, and the yCube pod membership model into one of the most-funded consumer indoor-growing brands.
