Genspark sells subscriptions to individuals and prosumers: a free tier seeds adoption of the Super Agent, and paid plans unlock more capacity, heavier tasks, and the fuller AI Workspace — the document, sheet, and slide suite launched alongside the November 2025 Series B. The economics are classic consumer-AI subscription with an agentic twist: revenue arrives as recurring plans, while cost of goods is dominated by third-party frontier-model API calls, since Genspark trains no flagship models of its own — making gross margin a function of orchestration efficiency, model routing, and how much work each subscriber's agents consume. Distribution is self-serve and viral rather than sales-led, which is how the company reached roughly $50M in annualized run rate within about five months of launch. The strategic purpose of the Workspace expansion is retention: converting one-off agent tasks into daily document workflows that justify the renewal. The open margin question — whether usage-hungry agent subscribers can be served profitably at consumer price points — is the one its $1.25B valuation assumes gets answered.
