Hark
Hark is an AI lab building highly intelligent, multimodal AI systems — end-to-end speech, text, and vision models with persistent, personalized memory — paired with bespoke native hardware devices intended to serve as a universal interface between humans and machines. It was founded in late 2025 by Brett Adcock, the founder of Figure AI and co-founder of Archer Aviation, who initially self-funded the company with $100 million; it is headquartered in San Jose, California. Hark emerged from stealth in March 2026 with a team of researchers, engineers, and designers from Apple, Meta, Google, Tesla, and leading AI labs, including Abidur Chowdhury, the former lead iPhone designer at Apple. In May 2026 it raised a $700 million Series A led by Parkway Venture Capital at a $6 billion post-money valuation, with participation from Nvidia, AMD Ventures, ARK Invest, Brookfield, Greycroft, Intel Capital, Prime Movers Lab, Qualcomm Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures. Its personal AI platform is in early-access beta, with its first multimodal models expected in summer 2026 and a family of AI devices to follow.
Serial founder Brett Adcock (Vettery, Archer Aviation, Figure AI) raised $800M for Hark before shipping a product — one of the largest Series A rounds of 2026 — with Nvidia, AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm betting that agentic personal AI plus native hardware becomes the next interface layer.
