Reflection AI

Reflection AI is an AI lab founded in March 2024 by former Google DeepMind researchers Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou. It aims to be an American open-frontier AI lab, building large-scale LLMs trained with reinforcement learning and positioning itself as a Western open alternative to closed labs like OpenAI and to Chinese models such as DeepSeek. In July 2025 it introduced Asimov, an autonomous coding and software-engineering agent that retrieves and synthesizes information across codebases and organizational knowledge. The company is based in Brooklyn, New York.
