Daniel Månsson
Clinical psychologist with a B.Sc. in Computer Science who treated depression and ADHD patients at Sarpsborg DPS, a psychiatric clinic in Norway, before co-founding Flow. In 2012 he met Erik Rehn while both worked in the computational biology research department at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. In January 2016, combining his clinical psychology background with Rehn's computational neuroscience expertise, they launched Flow Neuroscience. His clinical insight drove the design of Flow's tDCS headset targeting the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, paired with an AI-powered CBT app, which in 2025 received the world's first FDA clearance for at-home brain-stimulation treatment of depression.
