Nalu Medical

Medical device entrepreneur who founded Nalu Medical in 2014 in Carlsbad, California to develop miniaturised, battery-free implantable solutions for chronic pain via spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation. He previously founded a company later sold to Boston Scientific, giving him prior exit experience in the implantable neuromodulation space. As founding CEO he built the team, developed the product, ran a first-in-human study in Australia, and secured FDA clearance in SCS and PNS as well as CE mark approval before transitioning to Chairman of the Board in April 2020. Nalu was acquired by Boston Scientific in October 2025.
