Ramses Alcaide
Electrical engineer and neuroscientist with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, where he researched novel BCI systems and EEG biomarkers for assessing cognitive function in children with cerebral palsy at the Direct Brain Interface Laboratory. His family's experience with prosthetics after his uncle lost both legs in an accident motivated his research focus. He spun Neurable out of Michigan's Innovation Partnerships accelerator in 2017. A National Science Foundation Fellow, Rackham Merit Fellow, and two-time Neuroscience Innovators Award winner, he was named Forbes Next 1000 in 2021 and Medtech 35 Under 35.
