Conor Russomanno
Engineer, artist, and designer with a background in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University and a Design & Technology MFA from Parsons School of Design, where he studied brain-computer interfacing. He led two Kickstarter campaigns raising nearly $500,000 that launched OpenBCI, then served as Director of Advanced Interfaces at Meta (2017–2018) before returning to lead OpenBCI full time. He has taught Creative Coding, Brain Hacking, and Designing Consciousness at Parsons and NYU's ITP. Under his leadership OpenBCI has distributed over 40,000 open-source neuroscience tools across more than 100 countries.
