Max Hodak
BCI entrepreneur and engineer who began programming at age six and as a freshman at Duke's Pratt School of Engineering worked his way into Miguel Nicolelis's renowned BCI lab. Before finishing his undergraduate degree he founded Transcriptic, a robotic cloud laboratory for the life sciences, where he served as CEO. He co-founded Neuralink with Elon Musk in 2016, serving as President and running day-to-day operations until his departure in 2021. He founded Science Corporation in April 2021, investing in neural interfaces for restoring vision, cognition, and mobility. Science Corp's Science Eye programme is advancing a high-resolution photovoltaic retinal prosthesis.
