Tetiana Aleksandrova
Ukrainian-born neurotech entrepreneur with an MBA who previously founded Neiry, a non-invasive BCI company, in Russia before relocating to the US in 2022. She launched Subsense in Palo Alto to develop the world's first non-surgical, nanoparticle-based BCI platform — nanoparticles delivered intranasally that travel along the olfactory nerve into the brain, bypassing the blood-brain barrier. In under two years she raised $27 million in seed funding and built research collaborations with ETH Zurich and UC Santa Cruz. Subsense won the 2025 MedTech Breakthrough Award for Best New Technology Solution in Neurology.
