CTrees Platform (LUCA & carbon datasets)

A monitoring platform that quantifies carbon stored in trees and forests across the globe, including trees outside forests that conventional inventories miss. CTrees combines satellite imagery, radar, and AI models on a custom AWS architecture to produce country- and jurisdiction-level carbon and emissions datasets. Its LUCA product draws on European Space Agency Sentinel-1 radar to deliver near-real-time forest-disturbance alerts. Governments, researchers, and carbon-market participants use the data to track deforestation and land-use emissions and to verify the integrity of nature-based carbon projects and national climate commitments.
