Cloudflare

Matthew Prince graduated from Trinity College, earned a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, and later an MBA from Harvard Business School. Before Cloudflare he co-founded Unspam Technologies and, with Lee Holloway, built Project Honey Pot, an open-source effort to track the IP addresses used by email-harvesting spammers. After the Department of Homeland Security took interest in the data the project collected, Prince co-founded Cloudflare in 2009 with Holloway and his Harvard Business School classmate Michelle Zatlyn. He has served as the company's CEO and chairman since its founding and led it through its 2019 NYSE listing.

Michelle Zatlyn, originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, earned a chemistry degree from McGill University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she won the Dubliner Prize for Entrepreneurship. Before Cloudflare she interned at Google, worked as a product manager at Toshiba, and joined the founding team of the Toronto employee-rewards startup Achievers. In 2009 she co-founded Cloudflare with Harvard Business School classmates Matthew Prince and Lee Holloway, and serves as the company's president and COO. She has been named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Lee Holloway is a co-founder of Cloudflare and was the lead engineer and principal architect behind the company's early platform. Before Cloudflare he worked with Matthew Prince on Project Honey Pot, the open-source spam-tracking project whose data helped inspire the company. He co-founded Cloudflare in 2009 with Prince and Michelle Zatlyn and shaped much of its core network architecture in its formative years.
