CoreWeave

Before CoreWeave, Michael Intrator spent his career in commodities trading and founded Hudson Ridge Asset Management, a natural-gas-focused energy hedge fund. In 2017 he and his colleagues began experimenting with GPUs for cryptocurrency mining, launching the business as Atlantic Crypto, an Ethereum mining operation in New Jersey. He co-founded the company that became CoreWeave with Brian Venturo and Brannin McBee, pivoting from crypto mining to GPU cloud infrastructure for AI. As CEO he led CoreWeave to its March 2025 Nasdaq IPO.

Brian Venturo was a portfolio manager at Hudson Ridge Asset Management, the energy hedge fund founded by Michael Intrator, where the team built machine-learning models to guide investments in the data-heavy energy sector. As the hedge fund wound down, Venturo co-founded Atlantic Crypto in 2017, which became CoreWeave after pivoting from Ethereum mining to GPU cloud computing. He has served in senior technical and strategic roles at CoreWeave, including Chief Strategy Officer.

Brannin McBee came from the commodities and energy-data world, running a data firm whose services Michael Intrator and Brian Venturo used at their Hudson Ridge hedge fund. He co-founded the company that became CoreWeave with Intrator and Venturo in 2017, helping steer it from cryptocurrency mining toward AI infrastructure. He serves as CoreWeave's Chief Development Officer.

Peter Salanki joined CoreWeave in 2019 and rose through its engineering ranks, serving as Director of Engineering and then VP of Engineering before becoming Chief Technology Officer in 2024. Before CoreWeave he was Director, Americas in the Office of the CTO at network-intelligence company Sandvine, and earlier held engineering leadership roles at AppLogic Networks and Swedish ISP Bahnhof. He is recognized as a co-founder of CoreWeave and a central technical force behind its expansion into high-performance GPU compute for AI labs and enterprises.
