Chase Lochmiller
Chase Lochmiller holds undergraduate degrees in math and physics from MIT and a master's in computer science from Stanford, where he specialized in artificial intelligence. He worked as a quantitative researcher at high-frequency trading firms GETCO and Jump Trading, and was a general partner at the crypto fund Polychain Capital. In 2018 he co-founded Crusoe with childhood friend Cully Cavness, building the company around the idea of using stranded and low-cost energy to power compute. As CEO he has led Crusoe's evolution from flared-gas Bitcoin mining into a vertically integrated AI cloud and data-center developer.
