David Aninowsky
David Aninowsky founded Vultr in 2014 and has bootstrapped it without ever raising equity financing into one of the world's largest privately held cloud computing companies. He began hosting websites as a teenager in 1994 on a server he built and colocated at the dial-up ISP where he worked. In 2002 he founded Choopa, one of the New York metro area's largest managed hosting firms, which expanded into gaming and became GameServers.com — for a time the world's largest game-server provider. Drawing on that low-latency infrastructure expertise, he launched Vultr as a developer-focused global cloud platform.
