Fortify was a Boston additive-manufacturing startup that used magnetic field-alignment of fibers during DLP printing to make high-performance composite and dielectric parts; it wound down and its IP was acquired by Tethon 3D in March 2026.

Boston Materials makes Z-axis Fiber, vertically aligning carbon fiber to boost thermal management and lightweighting across semiconductors, aerospace and EVs.
