Fortify was a Boston additive-manufacturing startup that used magnetic field-alignment of fibers during DLP printing to make high-performance composite and dielectric parts; it wound down and its IP was acquired by Tethon 3D in March 2026.

Fairmat recycles carbon-fiber composite waste into engineered chips that are reassembled into new high-performance composite parts.
