Facetune is Lightricks' consumer photo-editing app and its main source of revenue, at about $300 million a year and growing about 20% annually, according to a June 2026 Calcalist report. Its profits fund the company's investment in AI video models. Under the split announced in June 2026, former Outbrain deputy CEO Asaf Porat takes over the Facetune business.
LTX-2 is an open-weight diffusion-transformer model that generates synchronized video and audio within a single model. It has about 19 billion parameters, is described in a technical paper published on Jan. 6, 2026, and can be fine-tuned with LoRAs. It is released under the LTX-2 Community License Agreement, which is free for organizations under $10 million in annual recurring revenue.
LTX-2.5, released on Aug. 11, 2026, adds native multishot generation that keeps characters, scenes and voices consistent across cuts, plus a new diffusion video decoder. LTX says it can generate a 10-second 720p clip from an image in 6.8 seconds on two Nvidia GB200 chips, and a distilled version runs locally on Nvidia RTX GPUs. It also ships a checkpoint tuned for physical AI and robotics.
LTX Studio is LTX's online platform for generating video from text and images with its models. Alongside it, LTX sells API access and licenses that let enterprises run the models on their own infrastructure.
