That converged endpoint management (XEM) platform unifies IT operations and security — asset discovery, patching, compliance, threat hunting, incident response, and digital employee experience — which lets Tanium sell into two budgets at once and land the sprawling, high-value accounts where scale and accuracy are non-negotiable. The business is substantial and disciplined: ARR topped $700M in 2024 with free-cash-flow margins north of 10%, the profile of a company that can go public on its own terms rather than out of necessity, and Tanium is a perennial fixture on IPO-candidate lists as the 2025–2026 window opens.
