B.A. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. He spent twelve years at Salesforce rising to Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales as the company grew from 200 employees to a $200B+ market cap. He then joined Elastic as Chief Revenue Officer for nearly six years, scaling revenue from $5M to over $500M and guiding it through its NYSE IPO. He co-founded ClickHouse, Inc. in 2021, commercializing the open-source OLAP database originally built at Yandex, and raised a $250M Series B at a $2B valuation.

Brings two decades of engineering leadership in cloud infrastructure and developer platforms. He spent seven years at Netflix as VP of Cloud Computing and Platform Engineering, helping define streaming-era cloud architecture, followed by three years at Google as VP of Engineering overseeing Developer Platforms and Serverless technologies. He discovered ClickHouse while at Google, was impressed by its speed, and co-founded ClickHouse, Inc. in 2021 alongside Aaron Katz and original creator Alexey Milovidov to commercialize it at enterprise scale.

Holds a degree in Mathematics from Moscow State University. He joined Yandex in 2008 as a software developer for Yandex Metrica and, starting in 2009, built ClickHouse as an internal experimental project to generate real-time analytical reports on non-aggregated streaming data. ClickHouse reached production in 2012 and was released as open source in 2016, becoming the fastest open-source OLAP database. He co-founded ClickHouse, Inc. in 2021 to build the commercial company around the technology he created.
