Nick Schrock
Spent nearly a decade at Facebook (2009–2017) as a Principal Engineer and Director, where he founded the Product Infrastructure team and co-created GraphQL — the query language for APIs that has since become an industry standard adopted by GitHub, Shopify, and thousands of other companies. After Facebook he turned his attention to data infrastructure, founding Dagster Labs to address the pain data teams faced with tooling and orchestration. He built Dagster, an open-source data orchestration platform, which has become a leading alternative to Apache Airflow for software-defined data assets.
