George Fraser
Holds a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Biology from Carnegie Mellon and a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the University of Pittsburgh (2011). After completing his doctorate he worked briefly as a scientist at Emerald Therapeutics before co-founding Fivetran in 2012 after going through Y Combinator (W13). Under his leadership Fivetran grew from a two-person startup to a data integration leader with over 600 connectors and $300M ARR by 2024, and has continued to grow through acquisitions including Census (May 2025) and the merger with dbt Labs (June 2026).
