Benoit Dageville
Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus in Parallel Database Systems; holds over 80 patents. He spent 15 years at Oracle as lead architect for parallel execution in Oracle RAC and a key architect in the SQL Manageability group, and prior to that worked at Bull Information Systems on parallel database performance. He co-founded Snowflake in July 2012 in San Mateo alongside Thierry Cruanes and Marcin Zukowski. As President of Products he is recognized as a leading expert in parallel execution and self-tuning database systems, and was instrumental in designing Snowflake's revolutionary separation of compute and storage.
