Palmer Luckey
Founded Oculus VR in 2012 and designed the Oculus Rift, widely credited with reviving the consumer virtual reality industry. He sold Oculus to Meta Platforms for ~$2 billion in 2014 and departed in 2017. That same year he co-founded Anduril Industries with former Palantir colleagues to apply Silicon Valley product-development velocity to autonomous defense systems. His hardware background and willingness to engage the Pentagon directly distinguishes Anduril's approach from traditional defense primes.
