Castelion

Holds an M.S. in Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He spent 20 years in aerospace and defense, most recently leading sales and business development for SpaceX's national security satellite programs. He co-founded Castelion in 2022 with fellow SpaceX alumni to close the U.S. hypersonic capability gap; the company went from concept to 25+ flight tests of the Blackbeard hypersonic missile in under three years and raised $350 million Series B in 2024.

Holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan. At SpaceX he led launch and human spaceflight sales across Europe, closing more than $1.25 billion in export contracts with satellite operators and allied defense agencies. He co-founded Castelion in 2022 and as COO oversees operational scaling and the company's manufacturing footprint as it moves toward high-volume hypersonic missile production for the Pentagon.

Before co-founding Castelion he led SpaceX's launch forecasting, government cost proposals, and FP&A for classified programs. Prior to SpaceX he was a Vice President in Goldman Sachs' investment banking division covering aerospace and defense, where he executed over $10 billion in M&A transactions. As CFO he has structured all of Castelion's financing rounds and manages classified program cost proposals for the Pentagon.
