Destinus is a Drones & Loitering Munitions company founded in 2021 and based in Netherlands.
Destinus says its monthly cruise missile output now exceeds Europe's total production in 2021, while engine supply limits Ukraine's strike programs.
Ruta is Destinus's family of turbojet-powered cruise missiles. The Ruta Block 1 flies about 300 km at low altitude with a 150 kg payload and INS, GNSS and visual navigation built for electronic-warfare-contested airspace, and the Block 2 carries a 250 kg warhead for hardened, high-value targets. The Block 3 is a 2,000 km-class missile with a 250 kg-class warhead, slated for final assembly, integration and testing in Germany through the Rheinmetall Destinus Strike Systems joint venture.
Hornet Block 1 is a radar-cued interceptor for one-way attack drones, reconnaissance drones and loitering munitions, with a 25-50 km range and an AI-assisted terminal seeker that can engage without GNSS. On June 18, 2026 Destinus launched a Hornet Block 1 from the Spanish Navy frigate Santa María, and on Aug. 24, 2026 it launched a Hornet Block 2 naval counter-drone development program with the Netherlands Ministry of Defence.
The T150 is a turbojet engine that Destinus designs and builds in-house to power the Ruta Block 1 and Block 2, so its missiles do not depend on outside engine suppliers. Destinus completed its 1,000th T150 in June 2026, and the Ruta Block 3 is planned to use a larger T220 turbojet.
Kryla is a compact cruise missile with a 50 kg warhead, designed for massed saturation strikes in which several weapons engage in coordination. At Eurosatory in June 2026, Rheinmetall Destinus Strike Systems named Kryla and Ruta Block 2 as the systems its production starts with.
