Quantum Systems

Quantum Systems was founded in 2015 by Florian Seibel, a former Bundeswehr officer and military helicopter pilot, and is based in Munich, Germany. It began with small electric drones for mapping and agriculture and moved into dual-use and defense work after 2022. Its products include the Vector and Twister reconnaissance drones, the Sparta drone mothership developed in Ukraine, and the MOSAIC UXS software that links its uncrewed systems. It sells mainly to armed forces in Europe, the US, Australia, New Zealand and Ukraine, and produces in Germany, Ukraine, the United States, Australia, Romania, the United Kingdom and the Baltics. 2025 revenue was about €300 million, roughly double the prior year, and the company says it is profitable with double-digit margins. On July 2, 2026 it completed a $1.2 billion Series D at a post-money valuation of about $8 billion, co-led by Blackstone, Noteus, Airbus and Advent; it had raised a €160 million Series C in May 2025.
