Saronic

Served 11 years as a U.S. Navy SEAL including eight combat tours, gaining firsthand experience with the operational demands on naval forces. After the military he joined Vista Equity Partners in private equity, leading technology investments across government, cybersecurity, finance, and media. He co-founded Saronic in 2022 to build autonomous surface vessels for naval warfare and U.S. shipbuilding; the company raised $1.75 billion Series D at a $9.25 billion valuation in 2026 and holds a $392 million Navy contract.

Electrical Engineering graduate from UC Davis who was among the earliest engineers at Anduril Industries, where he led engineering across multiple programs including the Royal Australian Navy's Ghost Shark drone submarine. He also held software engineering roles at Twitter, Juicero, and 8VC. He co-founded Saronic in 2022 and leads autonomy, perception, navigation, machine learning, and systems integration as CTO, drawing on his experience building large-scale autonomous underwater and surface vehicles.

Holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.Eng. in Engineering Management from Dartmouth. He has been at the forefront of maritime robotics engineering since 2012, serving as Head of Engineering at Liquid Robotics where he developed the Wave Glider autonomous surface vehicle, and as VP Engineering at Terradepth where he architected a novel diesel-electric autonomous underwater vehicle. He co-founded Saronic in 2022 and oversees R&D, engineering, and production as COO.

A retired U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel with over two decades of active duty, connecting Saronic's products directly to warfighter needs. After the military he led key Navy and Marine Corps programs at Northrop Grumman and ManTech International, served as CEO of TTI overseeing technologies deployed on surface combatants, and co-founded 9 Line Solutions to guide technology firms through DoD acquisition. He co-founded Saronic in 2022 and leads all marketing, sales, and customer support as Chief Commercial Officer.
