Holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan. He previously founded and served as CEO and CTO of WiPower, a wireless charging company acquired by Qualcomm whose technology became the AirFuel standard adopted by Samsung, Intel, and Verizon. He then worked as a Product Manager at Qualcomm before co-founding Shield AI in 2015 with his brother Brandon and Andrew Reiter. He held over 20 patents and led the company to a $5 billion valuation before transitioning to President and Chief Strategy Officer.

Holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He served seven years as a Navy SEAL, including at SEAL Team 5 and SEAL Team 7, with deployments to Afghanistan (twice), the Pacific Theater, and the Arabian Gulf. His idea for Shield AI emerged after his unit suffered casualties in Afghanistan due to poor reconnaissance, inspiring him to build AI systems protecting warfighters. He co-founded Shield AI in 2015 and was named to Time100 AI in 2025.

Studied chemical engineering at Northwestern before pivoting to robotics and earning an M.S. in Robotics from Harvard (2012). He then worked at Draper Laboratory in Boston, leading development of GPS-denied visual-inertial navigation systems now widely deployed on programs of national security importance. He co-founded Shield AI in 2015 alongside the Tseng brothers, bringing expertise in autonomy, computer vision, and GPS-denied navigation that underpins Shield AI's Hivemind autonomous flight software.
