Josh Lospinoso
Earned a B.S. in Economics and Operations Research from West Point and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. He served over 12 years as a U.S. Army cyber officer, building elite hacking tools for NSA's Tailored Access Operations, Army Cyber Command, and the Cyber National Mission Force. He previously co-founded RedOwl Analytics, an insider threat detection company acquired by Raytheon in 2017, and is the author of C++ Crash Course (No Starch Press, 2019). He founded Shift5 in 2018 to secure onboard operational technology — aircraft, trains, and military vehicles — against cyber threats.
