Amazon reported Q2 2026 net sales of $200.6 billion, up 20% year-over-year; excluding a $0.1 billion FX benefit, organic growth was 20%. Operating income surged 43% to $27.5 billion. AWS led growth at 37% YoY to $42.2 billion in sales, now running at a $169 billion annualized rate with AI and chips businesses each exceeding $25 billion run-rate annualized. North America sales grew 16% to $116.2 billion; International grew 15% to $42.2 billion. Net income of $62.6 billion ($5.75 diluted EPS) was significantly boosted by $53.4 billion in non-operating gains from Anthropic investments. Operating cash flow increased 33% to $161.4 billion trailing twelve months; free cash flow swung to a $7.6 billion outflow, driven by a $66.1 billion year-over-year jump in property and equipment spending focused on AI infrastructure. For Q3 2026, the company guided net sales between $197.0–202.0 billion (9–12% YoY growth, or 13–16% excluding Prime Day timing) and operating income of $22.5–26.5 billion.
