Founded in 2025 by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, Entire is building a developer platform for software produced jointly by humans and AI agents. Its open-source CLI records prompts, transcripts, tool activity, file changes, and recoverable checkpoints alongside Git commits; its hosted product adds searchable session context and repository views. In July 2026, Entire also launched a distributed Git-compatible network for mirroring repositories without routing every agent through one origin. The remote-first company launched publicly in February 2026 with a $60 million seed round led by Felicis at a $300 million valuation.
Coding agents are increasing the volume of code faster than teams can reconstruct why it changed. Entire is an early attempt to make agent intent, provenance, and recoverable context first-class development artifacts while rebuilding Git hosting for machine-scale concurrency.
