Harness's continuous integration and delivery product automates pipelines from commit to production. AI agents reason through each step and ship application code, infrastructure, database schema changes and AI agents themselves, with policy checks and human approvals along the way.
The security agents scan code and AI systems, secure the software supply chain and report policy-driven coverage of required checks. In production, the runtime protection agent monitors APIs, AI agents and applications with API posture management and an AI firewall, and a separate agent tracks remediation of critical package vulnerabilities in ecosystems such as npm and PyPI.
The cost agent attributes cloud and AI spending to the teams that incur it, flags waste and enforces budgets. It draws on the same delivery knowledge graph as the rest of the platform, linking spend to the services and deployments behind it.
Cosmos came to Harness with select Augment Code assets acquired on Oct. 8, 2026, along with the Auggie CLI and the Code Context Engine. Harness is turning it into an agent that automates engineering work from idea to code, and plans to connect the Context Engine to its software delivery knowledge graph.
