Ron Corio
Ron Corio founded Array Technologies in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1989 after consulting work for the Wattsun Corporation, which he acquired in 1992. He patented the first commercially deployed single-axis solar tracking system in 1993, earning him the informal title "Godfather of Solar" in the industry. Under his leadership, Array grew into the largest manufacturer of solar-tracking systems in the United States. Corio's DuraTrack product line, developed through decades of mechanical engineering innovation, helped establish large-scale solar as a cost-competitive power source and is deployed at solar plants across North America.
