Michael Oster
Michael Oster co-founded Eos Energy Enterprises in 2008 and served as its CEO through 2019, leading the company from inception through its early commercial deployments. Recognizing that the energy transition required storage solutions beyond lithium-ion, Oster guided Eos in developing its zinc hybrid cathode battery technology and securing early partnerships with NRG Energy, Duke Energy, and Siemens. He was instrumental in raising venture capital and building the commercial foundation that enabled Eos to later go public. His strategic leadership established the company as a pioneer in non-lithium grid-scale storage.
