Jagdeep Singh
Jagdeep Singh is a serial technology entrepreneur who co-founded QuantumScape in 2010 alongside Stanford researchers Tim Holme and Fritz Prinz. He previously founded Infinera, a broadband optical networking company that went public on Nasdaq, and Lightera Networks, acquired by CIENA. Singh brought venture-backed startup commercialization experience to QuantumScape, pairing the scientific founders' battery research with the business and fundraising capabilities needed to pursue long-cycle deep-tech development. Under his leadership, QuantumScape completed a SPAC merger in 2020 and has partnered with Volkswagen Group to develop solid-state battery cells for electric vehicles.
