Andrei Zudin
Holds a PhD in Computer Science from Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics and an MS from Lomonosov Moscow State University. Prior to co-founding Health Gorilla, Zudin built a career in software architecture and security, with a focus on complex systems integration — experience he applied directly to healthcare interoperability. As CTO, he led the technical development of Health Gorilla's FHIR-native platform, which includes a national master patient index and connectivity to over 92% of US healthcare organizations. Under his technical leadership, the company became a Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN) under TEFCA and operates a statewide health information exchange in Puerto Rico. In 2021, DirectTrust recognized him as an Interoperability Hero for his contributions to real-time, secure clinical data exchange.
