A graduate of École Polytechnique and Télécom Paris, Lebrun has spent two decades building AI-first companies. He founded VirtuOz, a pioneer in customer-service chatbots, acquired by Nuance in 2012, then co-founded Wit.ai — a natural-language platform that made it simple for developers to build voice-enabled apps — acquired by Facebook in 2015. He went on to serve as Head of Engineering at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) for nearly four years before co-founding Nabla in 2018. The company’s ambient AI scribe now generates clinical notes from physician-patient conversations across 130+ healthcare organizations. In 2025, Yann LeCun tapped Lebrun to also serve as CEO of AMI (Advanced Machine Intelligence), a newly formed AI lab, signaling a bet that his blend of research engineering and serial entrepreneurship scales beyond healthcare.

Co-founded Nabla in 2018 alongside CEO Alexandre Lebrun and CTO Martin Raison. Prior to Nabla, was a Member and Contributor at Forbes Technology Council. Holds degrees from Sciences Po Aix and École Normale Supérieure (Ulm) / University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. As COO, has led fundraising efforts including a £15M ($17M) round and subsequently a $70M raise, and drove the company's expansion to 130+ healthcare organizations. Nabla's ambient AI assistant now serves over 85,000 clinicians by automating clinical documentation, with the company recently pivoting toward building agentic AI for healthcare.

Laurent Landowski is a serial AI entrepreneur who co-founded two prior companies that were acquired: VirtuOz (a conversational virtual agent platform acquired by Nuance Communications) and Wit.ai (a voice-recognition platform acquired by Facebook in 2015). He holds a degree from Ecole Centrale de Lille. After the Wit.ai acquisition, he spent several years at Facebook as a Product Lead, working on Wit.ai and the M virtual assistant. He is now Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Nabla, which he launched in 2018 alongside Alex Lebrun, Martin Raison, and Delphine Groll. His career reflects a consistent focus on building natural-language AI products, first in customer-service chatbots and voice recognition, now in clinical ambient documentation for healthcare.

Martin Raison holds an MS in Computer Science from Stanford and an engineering degree in computer science from École Polytechnique. Before founding Nabla, he worked as a Research Engineer at Facebook (Meta) and previously at Wit.ai — the conversational AI platform co-founded by Nabla CEO Alexandre Lebrun and acquired by Facebook in 2015. That shared experience building natural-language understanding systems directly informed Nabla's ambient AI, which generates clinical notes from doctor-patient conversations. Raison left Meta in 2018 to co-found Nabla, which now serves 130+ healthcare organizations and is pushing toward agentic AI for clinical workflows.
