Artem Petakov
A Princeton University graduate (computer science, finance, and theater), Petakov took Daniel Kahneman's psychology of decision-making class — an early thread that connects to Noom's psychology-based health methodology. Before co-founding Noom, he was a software engineer and tech lead on Google Maps, where he led the User-Created Map Content team, and previously co-founded WorkSmart Labs as CTO. In 2020 Fortune named him to its 40 Under 40 in healthcare. He served as Noom's President until March 2024, when he transitioned to Head of Noom Ventures, and has since shifted focus to a new venture, Ez Health, aiming to simplify healthcare navigation.
