Earlybird Venture Capital

Earlybird was founded in 1997 by Hendrik Brandis, Christian Nagel and Rolf Mathies and is one of Europe's longest-running venture firms, based in Berlin. An early backer of UiPath, N26, Aleph Alpha and Isar Aerospace, it manages around €2.5bn and closed its largest fund to date, the €360m Fund VIII, in 2026 alongside a shift to a perpetual active-ownership partnership model.
