Kaszek was founded in 2011 by Hernan Kazah and Nicolas Szekasy, respectively co-founder/COO and CFO of MercadoLibre, to back technology companies across Latin America. The firm has raised more than $2 billion across seven funds and operates from Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Montevideo; it was a seed investor in Nubank and an early backer of Kavak, Creditas and QuintoAndar.
