Team8
Israeli company-building venture group rooted in Unit 8200 — co-founding cyber, fintech, data and AI companies.
Team8 was founded in 2014 by veterans of the IDF's Unit 8200 signals-intelligence unit, including its former commander Nadav Zafrir, who departed in late 2024 to become CEO of Check Point. The group operates a foundry model — co-founding companies with entrepreneurs, most famously Claroty and Sygnia — alongside Team8 Capital, a venture fund investing across cybersecurity, fintech, data infrastructure and AI. Team8 manages over $1 billion and counts exits including Sygnia (Temasek) and Curv (PayPal).
