Founded by UC Berkeley aging researcher Dr. Irina Conboy and led by co-founder and CEO Alina Su, Generation Lab is a San Francisco-based longevity-diagnostics company built around SystemAge, a biological-age test derived from the discovery of a non-linear DNA-methylation aging curve. Rather than reporting a single number, SystemAge breaks aging down across 19 distinct physiological systems such as cardiovascular, immune, metabolic and reproductive function, positioning it as a preventive readout that surfaces signals before symptoms. In October 2025 the company raised an $11M seed round led by Accel, bringing total funding to roughly $15M, and said the platform had been adopted by more than 275 clinics worldwide.
It is one of the fastest-growing system-level biological-age tests, pushing aging diagnostics from a single clock toward organ-by-organ aging readouts.
