Miles Arnone
Holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from MIT and dual master's degrees in management and engineering from MIT's Leaders for Manufacturing (LGO) program, where he met future Amazon consumer CEO Jeff Wilke in 1991. He spent his early career as president of small U.S. machine-tool companies, then roughly sixteen years running industrial turnarounds and manufacturing investments at private equity firms Charterhouse Group and American Capital Strategies. In 2020 he co-founded Re:Build Manufacturing with Wilke as a permanent-capital group that acquires and modernizes American manufacturers rather than flipping them; by 2026 it spanned 13 operating businesses, roughly 1,100 employees across 14+ U.S. locations, and about $545M raised, including a $120M General Catalyst investment in 2024.
