Founded in 2018 by Kyle Clark in South Burlington, Vermont, Beta Technologies develops the ALIA family of electric aircraft, including the CX300 all-electric fixed-wing (eCTOL) model and the A250 eVTOL variant, alongside a charging network to support electric flight. The company targets cargo, medical, and passenger operations and counts United Therapeutics among its longtime customers and investors. Beta raised approximately $1.06 billion across its three largest disclosed private rounds, then completed an upsized IPO on the NYSE on November 4, 2025, pricing at $34 per share and raising $1.02 billion at a reported fully diluted valuation near $7.4 billion.
