GM announces EV charging improvements at 2026 Empower event, easing charging for its brand EVs.

EVgo will install Tesla Superchargers branded as EVgo at its stations, capable of 500 kW, starting this fall.
ChargePoint sells a full line of networked charging hardware, from Level 2 AC stations for homes, workplaces and multifamily sites to DC fast chargers for commercial and fleet use, all connected to its cloud platform. The software handles driver authentication, payments, energy management, access control and analytics for site hosts and fleet operators, and surfaces real-time station availability to drivers through a mobile app. As of January 2026, ChargePoint said drivers could access more than one million charging ports worldwide through its own network and roaming integrations.
