George Dalton
A CPA by training, Dalton spent his early career at Arthur Andersen & Co. before moving into financial data processing. In 1984, he co-founded Fiserv in Milwaukee, merging two regional data processing firms—First Data Processing and Sunshine State Systems—into what would become one of the world's largest financial services technology companies. Dalton served as the company's first CEO for over a decade and later as chairman, presiding through a period of rapid consolidation during which Fiserv acquired dozens of smaller processors and tech providers. He was inducted into the Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame in 2007.
