Aaron Davis
A software engineer who was part of the early ConsenSys ecosystem, Davis created the original MetaMask browser extension alongside Dan Finlay. The project began as an internal ConsenSys initiative before launching publicly in 2016, eventually becoming the dominant self-custodial Ethereum wallet with over 30 million monthly active users. Davis and Finlay built MetaMask to solve a fundamental UX problem: giving everyday web browsers access to distributed applications on Ethereum without running a full node. His background prior to ConsenSys and MetaMask includes work in software engineering and product development.
