Nik Storonsky
Storonsky began his career as a quantitative analyst at Lehman Brothers before moving to Credit Suisse as a vice president in structured derivatives trading. Frustrated by the friction and fees of traditional banking, he left finance in 2013 to build Revolut — his first and only startup — with co-founder Vlad Yatsenko. He holds a Master's in Physics from MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) and a Master's in Finance from the New Economic School. Storonsky has described his own management style as "blunt" and "tough," and has publicly defended Revolut's pressure-cooker culture as necessary for speed. He has stated publicly that his ambition for Revolut is to become a trillion-dollar super-app.
