John Collison
Born in Ireland, co-founded Stripe in 2010 with his brother Patrick after dropping out of Harvard. Previously co-founded Auctomatic, a marketplace management tool for eBay sellers, which was acquired by Live Current Media in 2008 — his first exit. One of the early Thiel Fellows. As President, he has overseen product, engineering, and business development at Stripe, including the company's $1.1B acquisition of stablecoin infrastructure firm Bridge. Typically keeps a lower public profile than his brother, deferring the CEO's outward-facing role.
